Jerry Wright Neighborhoods near Fort Hood, TX
Cosper Ridge Estates is located on Killeen’s southernmost edge. Located in the path of development near the corner of Highway 195 and Chapparal Rd. The neighborhood is adjacent and similar to Splawn Ranch. Cosper Ridge Estates is a newer community still being built, including builders like D R Horton and Denver Tippit. The Alice W. Douse Elementary is under construction, estimated to be open by August, 2017.
Heartwood Park is a brand new neighborhood on the east side of Copperas Cove. It is located on the edge of Fort Hood and Hwy 116, not far from the Turkey Run gate on post. The builders D R Horton and Stylecraft began construction in the neighborhood in 2013 and are still just getting started. The homes are predominately upgraded homes catered to move-up buyers, mostly between 1800 and 3000 square feet. The neighborhood is sandwiched between the S C Lee Middle school and Williams Ledger Elementary. Heartwood Park is a great option for home buyers looking for spacious, brand new homes with upgrades, located in Copperas Cove but still convenient to everything in the Fort Hood area.
House Creek North is a newer, large subdivision on the north edge of Copperas Cove on the corner of Highway 116 and Lutheran Church Road. Though on the edge of empty hill country, the neighborhood’s location on Highway 116 makes it very convenient to Fort Hood and the Fort Hood area. The neighborhood surrounds the House Creek Elementary School. Homes were built mostly by D R Horton, the Jim Wright Company and Barnes Homebuilders between 2004 and 2012. There are a wide selection of homes available, ranging from 1300 square feet to over 3000 square feet, most on approximately 0.2 acre lots. House Creek North is a great neighborhood for anyone who is looking for lots of affordable square footage in a newer home on the edge of the Texas Hill Country.

Trimmier Estates is large new neighborhood on the South side of Killeen, between Trimmier Road and Hwy 195. It features builders like Centex and Saratoga, and has a mix of one and two story options. It is one of the most affordable neighborhoods to work with either of these builders, and can provide similar size homes as those in White Rock Estates and even Yowell Ranch but at lower prices. The neighborhood is a great location, right on Fort Hood street to go north to the Fort Hood East Gate, or south to Georgetown and Austin beyond.
White Rock Estates is a large neighborhood on the South-East side of Killeen and adjacent to Harker Heights. It is located just off of Rosewood, and Stagecoach Roads. The neighborhood began in 2004 and is still very active with builders like Centex, D R Horton, Saratoga, Jubilee and Lennar. The neighborhood has a diverse selection of housing, with the part of the neighborhood north of Sulfur Spring featuring mostly homes at affordable prices, while the newer construction features move-up buyer upgrades and even some lots with gorgeous custom homes. Square feet can be yours, with homes predominantly between 1500 and 3600 square feet. Phase Six is located across the city easement from the rest of White Rock and boasts some amazing upgraded homes as well. White Rock Estates is a great option for home owners looking for newer homes, often with larger floor plans and upgrades, on Killeen’s south-east side.
