Bridgewood is a large, newer neighborhood on Killeen’s South-West side. It is located near the corner of Clear Creek and Stan Schlueter, and close to the new commercial development, including the Killeen airport, Texas A&M, West Fort Hood, and is a quick trip to the Clear Creek gate on the main post. Bridgewood homes were built in the late 2000s, mostly by the builder D R Horton. Bridgewood has a variety of home sizes, but in particular is a great neighborhood to get a lot of space on a budget. Look for newer two story homes, many with over 2500 sq ft. The area also includes the smaller expansion neighborhood of Rimes Ranch which features very similar housing options.
