Harker Heights Community Park is very well kept 62 acre park located near Harker Heights High School.
Even though it is out of the way from where we live, it is a favorite destination for my wife and our two daughters (2 year-old and 4 month-old) because it tends to be a little less crowded than some of the closer options like Lions Club.
We are attracted to the park for its play area, which is a reasonable size and well shaded. But the park also includes nice, lit jogging/walking trails picnic/event areas, four softball/baseball fields, and abundant parking area.
It is adjacent to the Knights Ridge neighborhood and across the road from Evergreen Estates.
